Summer is right around the corner and if you have children, do you have a plan setup for the summer for the kids? Here are some great programs you may not know about.

As the Coloradoan reported, it really is not too early to think about what the kids will be doing this summer.

Here are a few programs that the kids might like:

This is a 10-week program, open from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday for children entering first through ninth grade. It will take place at O'Dea Elementary School, 312 Princeton Road in Fort Collins. Activities will include improve, Zumba, cooking, crafts, musical adventures, Russian, Japanese and science. Get all details and register at mybasecampkids.org.

Boys and Girls Club

You can register for summer programs at Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County locations in Fort Collins, Loveland, Wellington and Estes Park. You can print out a registration form for your club of choice at www.begreatlarimer.org.

Fort Collins Museum of Discovery

The museum located at 408 Mason Court, has science and history programs for children of all ages in summer. This program topics this year include astronomy, music, the Old West and zombies. You can get more information at www.fcmod.org.
