The Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce has voiced their support for an on-campus football stadium on Colorado State University’s campus. President and chief executive officer of the chamber, David May, told the Northern Colorado Business Report that the stadium would provide an economic boost to the community.

There are strong feelings on both sides of the stadium issue. A number of CSU faculty and taxpayers fear it could cost the city millions of dollars in hidden costs. Supporters argue the stadium is critical to allowing the university to remain competitive with other universities in recruiting and athletics.

Do you agree with the Chamber's endorsement of the new stadium?
