It's become a tradition in Fort Collins every spring. It's the Fort Collins Music Experiment; FOCOMX!

This year marks the fourth straight year for FOCOMX. This is wear you let your hair down and become young(er) again. It really is a musical explosion in Fort Collins with over 300 Northern Colorado bands, DJ's and Artist's  around 30 venues within the city.

FOCOMX is a "it takes a village" kind of event. With the collaboration of so many people, businesses... pro's and up and comers, this event will have you dancing the weekend away.

This event is presented by the nonprofit Fort Collins Musicians Association (FoCoMA) and according to their website the event nearly doubles every year and has gained the unofficial title of "The Biggest Little Festival in America". Along with great music of all genres the experiment offers Free Musicians Education Panels, Free Children’s Workshops, Silent Disco, and Silent Films with Live Music.

The volunteer run festival begins tonight and runs well into the night Saturday. Some of the venues include Avogadro's Number, Chippers Lanes College Center, Lyric Cinema Cafe, Beach House and Choice City Butcher and Deli. For a full list, times and age limits visit their website at
