Fort Collins Among Most Innovative Tech Hubs in America

Colorado is a great place to live, this is not a big secret. We have made a ton of "Best Of" lists, but this one is surprising. Two Colorado towns are among the most innovative.

As the Coloradoan reported, we all know that Silicon Valley and California in general are huge technology innovators. So I think it is surprising to see Colorado even on this list.

So how did this come to be or at least what is it based off of?

It comes from a few different factors including the number of patents per 1,000 residents, financial support for innovation, and proximity of cluster startups.

Boulder and Fort Collins rank in the top ten of America's Most Innovative Tech Hubs. Congratulations Colorado!

Fort Collins came in sixth, and Boulder ranked second overall.

We aren't Silicon Valley but we are doing pretty good compared to the rest of the country.
