We often wonder why ISIS has been allowed to carry on their murderous way killing the innocent. How many Marines would it actually take to wipe them out? 300!

There is a Facebook meme flying around that has a picture of ISIS with the caption, "We're coming to kill you." The bottom half of the meme is a picture of a few Marines who reply with, "Then hurry, chow is at 1630 and it's already 1600."

We have all asked ourselves why we allow innocent Christians, members of the media and volunteer workers to be burned alive and beheaded. If Muslims in their own country want to behead other Muslims, I guess that's their business. But to torture non-Muslims should be dealt with.

Believe it or not, that only fuels the radical Muslims here in the United States. Just yesterday, a Muslim in Detroit asked people at a bus stop who were Muslims and when two said they weren't, he stabbed them! There was also the radical Muslim convert who stabbed a co-worker and then beheaded another back in September, 2014.

If we are going to behead anything, we need to just cut the head off the snake and be done with it. Former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, who was the only surviving member of Operation Red Wing (Lone Survivor), says the same thing. Luttrell offers some sound advice on how to be done with ISIS once and for all:

Best thing you can do is jerk the chains off those guys and let them go to work. With 300 Marines, you could probably take over Iraq if you wanted to and get rid of ISIS completely. Make no mistake about it, Marines are war fighters. I mean they are really good at what they do. The only time they are not good at what they do is when someone puts the shackles on them - Retired Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell

The 300 Marines he is referring to are already stationed at Al Asad Air Base which is our second largest military base currently in Iraq. The base is a mere 5 miles from al Baghdadi which ISIS is closing in on and ready to make their own.

Then what?

One can only assume they will eventually try and attack the Al Asad base or are they that dumb? Maybe this is why Chuck Hagel stepped down as Secretary of Defense, because the Oval office wouldn't take his advice? So, it will be interesting to see if Ash Carter, who was sworn in yesterday as our new Secretary of Defense, will finally advise and urge the President to unleash the Marines, once and for all, and "let them do the job they were trained to do.?"
