Technology is killing so many of the things that we grew up knowing. You can't find a pay phone anymore and they used to be on every corner. The sales of magazines and newspapers are way down as people are using their tablets to get that info. You can barley find a CD or DVD anymore either as we have Netflix and iTunes. There are less and less "hands on" items. Kindle type products have taken their toll on books as well but there is one thing that technology can never improve on and that is an actual printed book for bedtime stories.

There is something magical about having the kids sit with you and look at the pictures and turn the pages. My wife reads to the grand kids each night before bed and it is their favorite thing each day. Take that technology! Get old school with the kids and sit down and read a book. It is timeless.
