Flash Mob in Old Town Square Fort Collins On Friday at Noon

Have you ever wanted to be in a flash mob? This is your chance!   On Friday (4/12/2013) at high noon the mob will gather in Old Town Square in Downtown Fort Collins. Oh, bring a book to read.  The flash mob will be reading for 15 minutes.

The Poudre River Public Library District invites you to grab your favorite book, e-reader, or magazine and meet in Old Town Square near the fountain. You will drop everything and read for 15 minutes. There is no school for Poudre School District students on this day, so please bring the whole family.

This event is in conjunction with the American Library Association's National Drop Everything and Read Day, which is a special reading celebration during National Library Week to remind and encourage families to make reading together on a daily basis a family priority. Following the reading, the crowd is welcome to disburse and go about their day or walk over to Old Town Library.
