While the calendar may only say November 9th, I look at it as the holiday season has begun! The downtown Fort Collins holiday lights are already lighting up your night shopping, and our sister station TRI 102.5 is playing your favorite holiday songs, so we also wanted to get you ready for some great lighting ceremonies happening around the state.

All you need to do is get in the car and take the short trip to these celebrations going on in our beautiful state. Bring the entire family...you don't want to miss it!

Big thanks to Colorado.com as they have put together a great list of everything going on around the state!

Holyoke "Country Christmas and Parade of Lights" - December 7th

The most popular activity of the night is the Parade of Lights, which features floats decorated according to the annual theme. There are contests for best float, tree and window display. Children can give their wish lists to Santa at the Vets club where the local fire fighters serve up a hot chili supper.
