Tonight is the Major League Baseball All-Star Game. The mid summer classic is by far the best of the major sports all-star games. We can cheer on our three Colorado Rockies in the game. Troy Tulowitzki, Nolan Arenado and DJ LaMahieu will all be representing our team tonight and we will be holding up our purple foam fingers.

Hollywood has always had a love affair with movies about America's pastime. There have been some classics that most of us have seen like Tin Cup, Bad News Bears, Bull Durham, Field of Dreams, The Natural, A League of Their Own and many other greats. Since the All-Star Game is tonight I thought I would put together a list of five baseball movies you must see if you haven't yet. Some of these were big hits and others you may not have heard of.

42 - You get a real appreciation for what Jackie Robinson went through in this very well done bio-pic.

Moneyball - This was highly acclaimed but if you missed it you missed a great one about the inner workings of putting together a winning team.

The Rookie - This Dennis Quaid film based on a true story is feel good treat.

Trouble With the Curve - This Clint Eastwood film was just wonderful. Amy Adams was fantastic as Clint's daughter. Great story.

The Perfect Game - This Cheech Marin movie was based on the true story of the first little league team from Mexico to win the Little League World Series.
