Firefighters Battling Blaze in Dowtown Longmont This Morning

Firefighters in Longmont are battling a structure fire in the 400 block of Coffman Street that has been burning since 1:22 this morning.  Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services is in the Downtown Longmont District. The roof reportedly collapsed on the building at 4 this morning.

Police officers are in the area blocking off areas to protect water hoses, but dispatchers said there aren't any official street closures.

At this time the cause of the fire is not known.
