On Fathers's Day, June 19, the City of Fort Collins Recreation Department is hosting the Father's Day 5K in Old Town, and it will benefit adaptive recreation. So, what does that mean? It means that everyone, regardless of ability or income, can participate in community programs, by reducing fees.

The 5K race will also include father/child team races, a wheelchair race and a post-run celebration in Old Town Square with live music and a wellness fair.

Registration begins at 6:30 a.m., with the race following at 8 a.m. Registration fees start at $10. To register or learn more about the Father's Day 5K and adaptive recreation, visit fcgov.com.
