Oh joy! As if traffic wasn't bad enough, you can expect to see more train traffic in Fort Collins very soon. City officials have been notified by the BNSF Railway that an additional six to 10 trains a day are expected to roll through Fort Collins over the next six weeks.

According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan, the railroad is doing maintenance on its tracks near Sterling. That means empty coal trains on their way to Wyoming must be rerouted.

Traffic signals can be adjusted to react to back-ups at intersections, but delays are likely.
