Expect Car-Bergs & Slick Roads This Morning

I was greeted by a big white puffy car-berg on my truck this morning, so I had to get out my ginormous scraper/brush. It wasn’t heavy snow. It was that light fluffy stuff that the skiers like and the drivers hate. The snow plows have been out all night, but the roads are still extremely slick this morning. I even did a 360 when I tried to stop at a red light on my drive into work. So how much more snow are we are going to get?
According to the National Weather Service:
Today: Snow before 7am, then a chance of snow and freezing drizzle. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 23. Wind chill values as low as -1. Southeast wind between 6 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Tonight: A chance of snow and freezing drizzle. Patchy freezing fog. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 12. East southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 10%.
The road in Northern Colorado are icy and snow-packed this morning. For the latest road conditions you can always check out the Colorado Department of Transportation website.
