Ever wanted to experience pioneer life firsthand? Now's your chance! This interactive day will include log chinking, butter making, quilting, spinning, weaving, square dancing, horse care and more. We'll have a real cowboy chuck wagon demonstration and the day will conclude with an Ice Cream Social( $1 per scoop). The winner of the 5th grade essay contest will be announced and we will have speakers from Western Union and the Union Pacific Railroad. Featured speaker is Barbara Fleming, local author & historian. She will have a book signing of her latest book.
You can register for the Chili Cook-Off on our website. There will be cash prizes.
