Additional Information

Make A Difference Day, a national day of doing good, is a week-long event in Larimer County due to the overwhelming support of our community. In 2011, more than 3,500 local residents volunteered to complete over 100 projects throughout the community. In fact, United Way of Larimer County’s Make A Difference Day is a nationally recognized event, named one of the top ten in the nation by USA Weekend magazine in 2009!

Larimer County’s 2012 Make A Difference Day events will take place October 22nd – 28th. If you are interested in volunteering as an individual or as a group, visit www.unitedwayoflarimercounty.org to choose from over 100 projects. Projects range from fixing up playgrounds, to decorating cookies with seniors, to harvesting fresh produce to donate to the local food bank, and more. There are service projects for people of all ages, and varying skill levels.
