Put on that cape and come dressed as your favorite Superhero or just as yourself for the Superhero 5K Run happening September 12, 2015 around St. Michael’s Town Square and the surrounding neighborhoods.
The 5K race is certified and will be chip timed by 5 Star Timing. Cash prizes will be awarded for the top 3 male and female overall finishers. There will also be prizes for best costume, age group awards, and team prizes. Registration is $25 prior to August 30, 2015 and will then increase.
There will be 5K and 1K distances for walkers and runners. Fantastic Kids' Fun Run is free for ages children 6 and under. Enjoy a free family carnival after the event with, music, bounce houses, carnival games, face painting and so much more.
Proceeds benefit A Kid’s Place and the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and Child Advocacy Center Programs. Every child needs a hero, but abused children need Superheroes! Which Superhero will you be?
