On September 17th, some of the most sought after speakers in the world will gather at the Budweiser Event Center in Loveland, Colorado to speak with high school students at the first annual Success Summit (S2).  A full day event created specifically for high school seniors and college students, the Success Summit introduces youth to the ideas, beliefs and behaviors associated with personal growth, leadership and life possibility.  The event will feature a solid cast of nationally recognized speakers including Patty Kennedy, Jared Campbell, Mark Hoog, Kevin Bracy, Dave Gamache and YouTube sensation Eric Thomas.

The Summit is presented by the Children’s Leadership Institute (a Colorado non-profit organization founded by children’s book author, speaker and Ft. Collins resident Mark Hoog).  “The time has come to target youth for more than just ‘stuff.’  Hoog said.  “The time has come to target youth for substance and significance…ideas to help them live a life equal to their potential.  That’s our goal at the Summit.”

The Success Summit is a free all day school district event at the Budweiser Event Center and includes lunch catered by Chick-fil-a.  Attendees at this year’s summit include senior classes from schools in Colorado Springs, Denver, Frederick, Longmont, Mead, Berthoud, Johnstown, Ft. Collins, Loveland, Windsor, Eaton, Greeley, Kersey and Julesburg.

Hoog added, “Northern Colorado has always been home.  After speaking around the country for the last decade, I want to bring the message home to my community…home to youth in Northern Colorado.  This day is about them…and about their possibility.”
