SUMMARY:Poudre River Trail Challenge 
DESCRIPTION:You don’t want to miss this community event! Lots of prizes\, fun community  atmosphere\, participate in a race or cheer racers on\, music\, food\, drinks\, and  more! All as a fundraiser for the Poudre River Trail! The Challenge will have  two parts:    Part 1: Pack the Trail - From 2-3 p.m. we will attempt to  set a record for the number of trail users along a section of the trail  beginning at Island Grove where the trail crosses the river and travels west.  There will be prizes for best costumes\, most creative form of conveyance to  travel on the trail\, the most people connected while traveling on the trail and  much more! Participate in part 2 of the event or stay on the trail to cheer on  participants!  Part 2: Challenge the Trail – From 3-4:30 p.m  this obstacle race will prove to be one of the most fun races you will ever  participate in. The race will include obstacles that you will need to climb  over\, go through\, and go under! Participants will be able to sign up as  individuals\, pairs\, or teams of four. Grab a friend or 3 and conquer the  obstacles of the Poudre Challenge! The race will start at Poudre Ponds on 35th  ave. but there will be a shuttle provided at Island Grove beginning at 2:30\,  allowing participants to finish close to their car and stay for the festivities.  The race will finish where the trail crosses the bridge at the north entrance to  Island Grove. That’s right\, exactly where Part 1 began. Only participants who  pre-register by September 8 will receive a Free T-shirt and you must be at least  16 years old to participate in this part.    After the challenge join us for a complimentary BBQ\, drinks\, and music.  Additionally there will be vendors and other activities to explore or just sit  in the grass and enjoy the food\, entertainment\, and great company! Want to know  all the details? You must fill out a registration form and liability waiver to participate in  either Part of the 2011 Poudre River Trail Challenge!! Fill out your Registration  Form and Liability  Waiver.    Want to volunteer! We need a lot of volunteers for this type of an event.  Help the Poudre Trail make this a successful fundraiser and an amazing event.  Fill out a volunteer form and liability  waiver and simply indicate next to your name that you would like to  volunteer. Volunteer assignments will range from 2-4 hours. Sign up by Thursday\,  September 8 to gaurantee yourself a free T-shirt.    Are you a business or organization and you would like to have a booth at our  event.
