Join in from 6-9 p.m. on June 5, 2015 at the Global Village Museum for the Galelry Walk featuring Fort Collins Marimba. They play interlocking, polyrhythmic melodies creating high-spirited, percussive music influenced by the traditional Shona-style sounds of Zimbabwe, Africa. Students, grade school students to adults, perform in bright African Dashikis creating a unique experience enjoyable to audiences of all ages. They will perform outside Global Village Museum at 200 West Mountain Ave. Enjoy the music then visit inside to travel the globe in our four galleries for half-priced admission.
