Rocky Mountain Flycasters, the local chapter of Trout Unlimited, resumes it's fall and winter meeting schedule on Wednesday September 16th. Meetings are free and open to the public at the Fort Collins Senior Center, located at 1200 Raintree Drive.

The September meeting will feature a presentation on fishing the Red Feather Lakes area and a fly tying demonstration by Dave Mosnik, a Fort Collins resident and RMF member. Mosnik has been fishing the area since his grandparents purchased property in Red Feather. His tying demonstration will feature flies he has developed for trout fishing in lakes.

Also on the program will be an introduction of a new Colorado developed dry-fly floatant product, an update on restoration projects along the North Fork of the Big Thompson River, and a brief update on the Fort Collins Water Efficiency Plan. Social hour and the fly tying demonstration begin at 6:30, with the program at 7 p.m.

Rocky Mountain Flycasters was the tenth chapter authorized by Trout Unlimited, the nation's largest coldwater conservation agency, and is more than thirty years old.
