Sam's Club in Evans has partnered with the Evans Police Department and the Evans Fire District to host the 2nd Annual Safety and Awareness Day to be held on August 9, 2014 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. in the Evans Sam's Club parking lot. We have over 50 confirmed agencies such as first responders and non-profits that will be in attendance that day. We will have information booths on everything from proper child safety seat installations to senior fraud prevention. The Banner helicopter will be on sight. The Weld County Food Bank and Blood Mobile will be accepting donations. This event allows non-profits to showcase the programs they have available as well as provide an education for the community.
