A car crash in south Evans Friday night (March 4, 2016) resulted in five juveniles getting injured, two of which suffering serious injuries. According to the Greeley Tribune, a car heading south on U.S. 85 ran a read light and t-bones a car full of young adults that was making a left turn from 85, onto 42nd Street.

The driver of the southbound vehicle suffered minor injuries, as did three of the juveniles that were in the turning vehicle. Two of the passengers however suffered serious injuries, and were transported to North Colorado Medical Center. Their condition is not known at this time. The driver of the vehicle that ran the red light has been charged with doing just that, as well as careless driving resulting in injuries.
