My Church singer, Maren Morris, announces album release date and Eric Church takes a major stand against scalpers.  Here's your Nashville Minute for Tuesday, March 15th.

If you have been waiting to hear more music from the My Church singer, Maren Morris, great news, she has announced details about her first major label, full-length album, that will be released on June 3rd. The album will be called "Hero" and features 11 tracks all co-written by Morris.

Eric Church took a stand against scalpers who got tickets for his two-night solo Red Rocks show in August. After tickets had gone on sale this past Friday, Church and his team did their regular review of the orders and discovered that 2,700 tickets were purchased by known scalpers, including more than 750 tickets acquired by a Texas-based scalper ring. If this is sounding very Law & Order, it's because it is, Eric and his team promptly made sure that all tickets purchased by scalpers were canceled.

As for playing Red Rocks Eric says, "I get asked all the time about my favorite venue, and I always answer the same way. Red Rocks. When people ask why I just smile and say, 'you must not have been there.'"
