Just north of the Colorado/Wyoming border is a one man town. Yup, Buford, Wyoming, population 1. The entire town was auctioned off and sold for $900,000 on Thursday. Included in the town is a gas station with convenience store and a modular home. The one man town covers just over ten acres between Cheyenne and Laramie, Wyoming.

Don Sammons moved from Los Angeles to Buford in 1980 and in 1992, Sammons bought the town. He decided to sell the town and move to Colorado.

“My family is gone. Our purpose for moving here has kind of been completed, and now I want to find out what other adventures I have in store,” Sammons told Reuters in an interview on Wednesday.

It’s unclear if the town’s population will grow with it’s new owner. Their name and information has yet to be revealed.
