The Sustainable Living Fair shows us how to find balance.

The idea is simple. We can decide how much of an impact we have our environment. We can also decide how much of an impact our environment has on us.

It really goes both ways. It's important that we don't trash this beautiful planet. It's also important that we don't let the experience trash us.

Some things we do in order to take great care of our environment. Some things we do to take care of ourselves. Other efforts that we make throughout our days combine those two.

If you are looking for more balance in your life, whether it's in how you affect, or how you are affected, the Sustainable Living Fair is a great place to find solutions for all of the above.

Or, it's just a great place to people watch.

There is also a full lineup of entertainment that will include Elise Wunder, the Patti Fiasco and Mason Howling.

A lot of the fair is about greening your lifestyle, aka, decreasing your carbon footprint. There are product vendors for things like solar power, alternative fuels and other personal and business solutions.

Other vendors are just there to show you their products that may serve you in many ways, and are created in environmentally responsible ways.

This fair is a great place for people who are into thinking globally and acting locally. It's perfect for those who want to make a difference, and like to be surrounded by an energy that matches that desire.

I've been to this event many times, as an attendee, a vendor and a performer, and it's a great time. I always walk away with ideas on how I can improve my life, the lives of those around me. But mainly, when I have left the Sustainable Living Fair in the past, I have walked away inspired.

The Fair will be held outside the Northside Aztlan Center at Old Fort Collins Heritag Park, right by the skate park.
