Elmo May Have a Dirty Little Secret!

Amongst the worse kind of allegations, Elmo has resigned.

According to Fox News a man has come forward saying that he had a sexual encounter with Kevin Clash, the voice and creator of, in my opinion Sesame Streets most popular characters, Elmo. The man is claiming that the incident occurred when he was just 16.

In an odd turn of events the man has now recanted his story (only to recant his recantation, claiming he was forced to retract his story). Clash isn't out of hot water yet, another man has now come forward with a similar story. The creator and voice of Elmo does not want the distractions of his personal life to interfere with the work he has done for 28 years nor the mission of this award winning educational program.

"I am resigning from Sesame Workshop with a very heavy heart," Clash said in a statement of FoxNews.com. "Personal matters have diverted attention away from the important work Sesame Street is doing and I cannot allow it to go on any longer."
