After opening up a location in Fort Collins just a few months ago, one of Americas favorite franchises is expanding its footprint in Northern Colorado. In a news release by the Windsor Economic Development Department, the franchise group Dawgs & Donuts signed a lease, and plan to open a new Dunkin' Donuts location at 1530 Main Street in Windsor (Colorado). Stacy Johnson, Economic Development Director, said in the release, "This business fits perfectly into the retail goals for the community, and we couldn't be more excited to have them in our town."

According to the Coloradoan, the Dawgs & Donuts franchise group plan to open several more locations in the coming year across Northern Colorado, including Greeley, Loveland and Estes Park.

Earlier this year when they opened their location in Fort Collins, over 2,000 overzealous Dunkin' Donuts fans crashed their VIP Grand Opening Event. Since the store was only prepared for the private event, they ended up running out of food, due to the group not turning anyone away. Hopefully, they are more prepared in the spring for the grand opening of their Windsor location.
