Dressage Horses Will Dance in Estes Park this Weekend
Ann Romney was ‘Thrilled To Death’ with her horse Rafalca’s Olympic Dressage Performance. On a smaller scale, I am SO excited to watch Dressage Sunday at the Stanley Park Fair Grounds in Estes Park. Dressage is a French term, most commonly translated to mean “training.” It is a competitive equestrian “Horse ballet”, defined by the International Equestrian Federation as “the highest expression of horse training.
The Estes Park show will benefit the Hearts and Horses Therapeutic Riding Program, out of Loveland. A fund-raising brunch will be held on Sunday morning, ringside. Performances start on Friday morning at 8 a.m. and run through Sunday, around 4 p.m. There will be classes each day featuring ‘riding to music’, the freestyle competition,
