Dolly Parton has always been such a huge star that you knew, even nearly 40 years ago, that she would outgrow the stage and need to be on the big screen. She first did that in 1980 with the hit movie "9 to 5" and made a big splash. It was just a couple years later that she returned with what would become another classic comedy/musical "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas".

Dolly was really becoming a huge star at this time. She owned the charts and was on every talk and variety show on television. This movie had so many memorable songs in it from the legendary "I Will Always Love You" to what would become a holiday classic "Hard Candy Christmas". To celebrate the anniversary of it's release I thought we could relive some of those memories together. Enjoy and sing along loudly.
