Do You Open Your Presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? [POLL]

Hard to believe but two weeks from tomorrow is Christmas Eve. I still get as giddy as a child this time of year. I love the feeling and spirit in the air. We have many traditions for Christmas at our house and one of them is opening gifts on Christmas Eve. We have always been a Christmas Eve family.

Ever since I was a child we have had certain traditions in our family. We go to the early Christmas Eve church service then come home and get the lasagna ready for baking. While that bakes the children must start preparing a Christmas program for the adults. I was usually in charge when we were kids and my cousins and I would sing songs and put on skits and such to entertain the older folks after dinner. We could not open presents unless we put on a show. We are making our grandchildren do this for us this year. I cannot wait. After the kids program we would then all get in our chairs and the gifts would be handed out. We always opened gifts on Christmas Eve and then we would go to bed knowing that Santa would show up while we were sleeping and leave us another gift or two for morning.
