Do You Know Which 3 Country Stars Sang On “We Are The World”? [VIDEO]

It was on this date in 1985 that a group of 45 singers and musicians gathered to record the world relief effort anthem "We Are The World". I remember every format of radio playing this groundbreaking all star smash. Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones gathered a never before seen cast of mega stars and created magic. After all this years I still think this is a great song. It makes me want to go home and listen to the album. I haven't heard it in ages.

As I mentioned there were 45 artists involved in the project and 3 of them were country stars. Do you remember which ones? 2 of them sang lead parts and one was just on harmony vocals in the chorus.

Willie Nelson and Kenny Rogers were given lead parts and Waylon Jennings was part of the vocal ensemble.
