I know there are a lot of differing opinions on this but I, for one, am thrilled that the NFL issues a new policy on players standing for the National Anthem. I am all for personal rights but the National Anthem has never been the time or place to make a statement in my mind. Again this is my personal opinion and everyone is entitled to theirs.

There are many players who are already sounding off on this and saying it is insane. The Broncos own Brandon Marshall is one who has made it clear he is not happy with the rule and has been one of the players who took a knee all year during the playing of the anthem. I have a problem with that. In fact, I was at a function where I was supposed to stick around and meet Mr. Marshall and get my picture taken and I decided to skip it and took a knee in the parking lot instead. I know it meant nothing to anyone but me but I was happy I skipped it.

What is your feeling on the new anthem policy? Sound off here.
