Did You Know Fort Collins Has a Whiskey Distillery?

We all know Fort Collins is the micro-brewery capital of the World, but did you know we have a distillery? Fort Collins first distillery is Feisty Spirits at 1708 East Lincoln Avenue.

Feisty Spirits makes Single Barrel Whiskeys, like Blue Corn Bourbon and Rye Whiskey. They make Flavored Whiskeys, like cinnamon Oat and Vanilla Orange. They make Unaged Elementals like Kamut and Quinoa. They make Aged Elementals like Barreled Oat and Barreled Triticale. They make Apple, Pear, and Peach Brandy. Then there are a few that don't really fit in a category, like Yellow Corn Bourbon, Oat Rye Whiskey, and 2nd Chance Malt Whiskey.

Is it Whisky or Whiskey?

 Both are correct. Well, depending on who you ask. Different people will argue as to why one or the other is correct in one situation or another. But despite what the guy sitting next to you at the bar says, it is typically a geographical distinction; it is common to use Whisky in reference to Scotch and Canadian Whisky, whereas Whiskey is generally used for US and Irish Whiskey.
