Stop us if you've heard this one, but a guy walks downtown and runs past the Safeway plaza at Mulberry and College. Good news, a developer has plans to brighten up the run down business block in Fort Collins.

According to the Coloradoan, Loveland Commercial LLC has acquired the downtown Fort Collins Safeway plaza.The company also owns the North College Marketplace, home to King Soopers.

Noting that the property is a little run down, representatives from Loveland Commercial say they plan to fix up the property they purchased for 8.8 million dollars. They plan on investing another half of a million to upgrades.
