Denver Zoo Worth a Drive to the Mile High City [PICTURES]

We try to make it to the Denver Zoo at least a couple times a year, but have to confess it has been a couple years since my wife and I visited. We made the trek on Sunday, with our friends from Italy and then wondered, "Why don't we do this more often?"

There are some highlights you don't want to miss at the zoo:

• Dobby, the baby giraffe
• Whimsie, the baby gorilla
• The Toyota Elephant Passage, including the elephant show
• The Edge - Tiger exhibit
• The feeding of the seals
• Predator Ridge (Re-creation of the Samburu National Reserve in Kenya)
