Denver Uber Driver Accused of Sexual Assault

Denver Uber driver Luis Galeano-Bedon is now in custody for alleged sexual assault on a passenger happening on Halloween night.

Galeano-Bedon, 43, is accused of sexually assaulting a 24-year-old woman after she and a friend requested an Uber ride following a Halloween party in lower downtown Denver.

According to Denver District Attorney's Office spokeswoman Lynn Kimborough, Galeano-Bedon gave the women his personal cell phone number, telling them to call when they were ready to return to their hotel. Once they were picked up, he allegedly sexually assaulted one of the women on the way back.

Galeano-Bedon has been charged with 2 counts of sexual assault - victim incapable. His bond has been set at $50,000.
