The Pony Run: Motorcycle Run to Benefit Denkai is coming up on Sunday August 18th. The event is open to everyone and all vehicles but if you own a motorcycle and love animals, it's targeted directly at you. Don't own a bike but like being around them? This event is for you.

Come one, come all to the 1st annual 'Pony Run' Motorcycle event. This one of a kind run takes riders through the gorgeous Rocky Mountains with lots of twist and turns along the way! And they aren't just talking about the ride!

Before I pass along details, I think it's important to know what the Denkai Animal Sanctuary does if you are not familiar with them.

Denkai Animal Sanctuary is a quality of life, no-kill organization dedicated to finding permanent homes for adoptable animals. Denkai Animal Sanctuary is the LARGEST no-kill pet rescue in Northern Colorado. Rest assured that every animal in their care stays there until they find permanent homes. Denkai promote's healthy environments in which people and animals interact and connect through applied, environmental, and educational programs to cultivate mental and physical health.

As you can imagine, this noble effort isn't free, by any stretch of the imagination.  So I ask each and every one of my friends to please consider attending the fun event; especially if you own a motorcycle and free for the day.

Registration takes place at Johnson's Corner starting at 9:00 AM and there will be breakfast discounts for participants. There will also be a surprise buffet for only $10.00 at the Mishawaka and the run ends at the Hideout in Fort Collins.

Cost is $20 Per Bike/Vehicle Driver and $10 for your passenger/s. Extra cards are $15 and you can even get a 6th card for only $5. (Details explained at registration) Pricing all geared to favor everyone. What better day to load up your friends in a car and go play some poker and do some good for these animals.  They want to see everyone come out.

Event tee shirts, door prizes, great food, cold drinks, live music and a ton of fun all coming up on Sunday August 18th.  For more information please visit their website or click on the red button below to join the event on their FB event page.
