Death Investigated Near Missile Silo Park in Greeley

Deputies are investigating the death of a man whose body was found near Missile Silo Park in Greeley on Friday.

According to a press release from the Weld County Sheriff's Office, the deceased individual was found by a citizen visiting the park at 10611 Highway 257, partially covered by the snow.

The identity of the adult male and cause of death are unknown at this time. However, investigators believe the man may have been there for some time due to location and condition of the body.

WCSO says there is no threat to the safety of the public at this time, and continue to investigate the incident.
