Deadline To Apply For SBA Disaster Assistance In Larimer County Is Tuesday
The U. S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Colorado District Director Greg Lopez announced today that Colorado homeowners, renters, businesses of all sizes and private, nonprofit organizations whose property was damaged or destroyed by the wildfires, subsequent flooding and mudslides that occurred June 9 – July 11, 2012, in El Paso and Larimer Counties, have until Tuesday, October 9, 2012, to apply for low-interest, federal disaster loans.
“If you had damage to your home or business, you do not need to wait on an insurance settlement or a contractor’s estimate before applying for an SBA disaster loan,” said Lopez. “Filing an application before the deadline keeps open the possibility of SBA disaster assistance in case your insurance does not fully cover your losses.”
