***UPDATE March 5, 2014 4:00 p.m.***  The dead body found off of East Mulberry Road in Fort Collins yesterday afternoon belonged to 35-year-old Ryan Roark-Hutt. The Coloradoan reports that the coroner ruled his death as an  accidental-drowning and that investigators say he rode his bike off of the road into the ditch and drowned. There was no evidence of him being hit by a car or of any medical conditions that would explain why he may have rode into the ditch and they are still awaiting toxicology reports.

My heart goes out to the Roark-Hutt's family and friends.

In some disturbing news, the Larimer County Sheriff's Office is investigating a dead body that was found just north of Mulberry today, March 5, 2014.

Coloradoan, a passerby found a man's body and a bicycle in an irrigation ditch

I'm a little extra weirded out as I literally drove on that stretch of road, just a few hours ago. As of 5:30 p.m. the coroner was on the way to try and determine the exact cause of death, and we'll see how much more investigating will need to be done.

The Larimer sheriff posted this info to Facebook at 5:17 p.m. March 5, 2014.
