Darius Rucker Fills Budweiser Event Center in Loveland

It was a weekend filled with family, friends, benefits and awards, but wait there was more, Darius Rucker at the Budweiser Event Center in Loveland.

As he entered the stage and started singing it was a great treat for my Zachariah and me. Darius Rucker lights up the stage with his big smile. He sang all of our favorites, surprised us by singing some of the timeless "Hootie and the Blowfish" hits such as 'Let Her Cry', but the biggest surprise for me was when he came out for the encore and sang 'Purple Rain' by Prince. I grew up with this music and Prince made a big impact in the 80's. I also went to Chaska High School, which is a cousin town to Chanhassen, where Prince once lived. I stood beside my Zachariah as we swayed and sang along with Darius Rucker it was truly a mother/son moment I will likely not forget anytime soon.
