Doesn't seem a day goes by that a new accident with injuries is reported in Northern Colorado. This week there have been a few, most recently a cyclist in Fort Collins has been seriously injured and citations are pending.

The cyclist was traveling near CSU campus when struck by a car. 37-year-old Hans Updegraff was in the 700 block of West Lake Street when he collided with a parked car and was thrown from his bike, Updegraff was then struck by another vehicle.

Updegraff was taken to the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. As of Wednesday morning, according to the Coloradoan, the cyclist was in critical condition.

19-year-old Emma Holt, the driver of the parked car and 25-year-old Kathryn Linton, the driver that hit Updegraff once he was flown from his bike did not receive any injuries. Charges are pending against Holt.
