CU is Still Opposed to the 4/20 Marijuana Celebration

The University of Colorado says they’re still opposed to the 4/20 marijuana celebration on the Boulder campus despite the recreational use of pot being legal in the state. CU officials say it’s still illegal to smoke pot in public. Last April 20th, CU closed the campus to outside visitors and Norlin Quad was shut down completely. CU officials note the smoke-out disrupts academics, even though this year’s celebration would fall on a Saturday.Read more from Denver CBS.
