It was one and out for the CSU Rams men's basketball team.  Colorado State was eliminated from the NCAA Tournament by Murray State in the 1st round.  Meanwhile, Governor Hickenlooper declared today as "CSU and CU are Dancing Day" and ordered that the schools' flags be flown over the state Capitol as long as their teams remain in the NCAA tournament.  The CU Buffs play UNLV tonight in the tournament.

CSU RAMS

The CSU Rams men’s basketball team was eliminated from the 1st round of the NCAA Tournament today by Murray State. The Racers ran past the Rams 58-41 despite a 1-point 1st half lead by Colorado State. CSU finished their season 20-12.  Murray State will play either Marquette or  BYU on Saturday.

CU Buffs

The CU Buffs men’s basketball team won the Pac-12 Championship on Saturday by beating Arizona 53-51 and earned an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. The Buffaloes are a #11 seed in the South Division and will face 6th seeded UNLV tonight at the The Pitt in Albuquerque, N.M. The winner of today's game will play either No. 3 seed Baylor or No. 14 South Dakota State in a third round game on Saturday. Tonight's  game is at 7:57 tonight on Tru TV.

The Women

The UNC Women's Basketball team was knocked out of the 1st round of the WNIT by the CU Buffs last night in Boulder. The Lady Buffs defeated Northern Colorado 54-42 last night at Coors Events Center.

The Buffs will take on the winner of tonight's Drake-South Dakota matchup in the second round. The date, time and location are to be determined.
