It was one and out for the CSU Rams men's basketball team.  Colorado State was eliminated from the NCAA Tournament by Murray State in the 1st round yesterday.  Meanwhile, the CU Buffs were one of the 2 lower seeded teams that won on Thursday.

CSU RAMS

The CSU Rams men’s basketball team was eliminated from the 1st round of the NCAA Tournament today by Murray State. The Racers ran past the Rams 58-41 despite a 1-point 1st half lead by Colorado State. CSU finished their season 20-12.  Murray State will play Marquette in the 2nd round on  Saturday.

CU Buffs

The 11th seeded CU Buffs men’s basketball team upset the No. 6 seed UNLV Runnin Rebels last night in the 1st round of the tournament 68-64. Colorado advances to the 2nd round against #3 seed Baylor for a chance to play in the sweet 16. The game is Saturday (St. Patrick's Day) at 6:40 p.m. on TNT.

The Women

The University of Colorado Women's Basketball team is playing the University of South Dakota on Monday, in the 2nd round of the WNIT. The Lady Buffs beat the UNC Bears in the 1st round.  The game is at 6 p.m. Monday in Vermillion South Dakota.
