Crash Closes All Southbound Lanes and Two Northbound Lanes on I-25 in Westminster

If you are heading down from Northern Colorado towards the Denver metro area today, CDOT is encouraging drivers to use an alternate route. A crash late this morning has closed down the southbound lanes of interstate 25 at 128th ave as well as a couple of lanes heading northbound on interstate 25.

According to KDVR, the crash happened at the East 128th Ave. overpass and the extent of injuries are not known at this time.

CDOT is reporting that there is not an estimated time to have the roads cleared. Southbound interstate traffic is being diverted on to 136th ave. and at least two lanes northbound are closed for road crews.
