Cowboys QB Signs A $108 Million Dollar Extention Deal For Literally Doing Nothing
Most of us love to hate the Dallas Cowboys, well, at least Jerry Jones. Now he has defied all logic and rewarded his starting QB with a ludicrous amount of money, for doing nothing.
Seriously, when it comes to QB's in the NFL who dominate BIG money they have all earned it. Take this list of elite QB's for example and the first 3 years of their extension deals:
- Eli Manning: $49 million in 2009
- Tom Brady: $48.5 million in 2010
- Peyton Manning: $58 million in 2012
- Drew Brees: $61 million in 2012
- Joe Flacco: $62 million in 2013
So how does Tony Romo fit into this category? He has never won a Superbowl, let alone 2 or 3, but Jerry Jones just rewarded is Cowboy with a 6 year deal worth $108M with $57 million over the first three years, guaranteed. Correct me if I'm wrong but not only has Romo never won a Superbowl but he has never even won a playoff game?
How long will this dog and pony show continue in Dallas?
