Country Songs You Are Likely to Hear at a Funeral [VIDEO]

Country songs you are likely to hear at a funeral is an odd topic but it came to my mind today. I have been to too many funerals in the last couple of years and the music plays a huge part in the service. Music can bring out emotion like no other form of communication.

It was on this date in 2005 CMT premiered the very moving Brad Paisley song "When I Get Where I'm Going" featuring Dolly Parton and Scott Hamilton. This song has touched so many hearts over the past decade and it has been played at many funerals that I have attended. I was at funeral for my dear friend Ann a few weeks ago and they played Alan Jackson's "Sissy's Song" which punched me right in the heart. Here are a few of the country songs I have heard most often while seeing a loved one laid to rest.
