Country Concerts Make Billboard’s Top 25!

Billboard recently announced the top 25-grossing concerts of 2010 and though Country didn’t make the top 10, it did score some big dollars!

Tim McGraw was the top grossing Country act for the year- with 71 shows taking in $44 million!  Taylor Swift came in at #15 with her 47 shows (all sold-out) raking in $40 million.  Though Tim took top dollars,  Billboard held its annual Touring Awards in November, and Taylor Swift received the “Top Package” award for tours with three or more performers on the ticket. Taylor toured with Gloriana and Kellie Pickler.

Also on Billboard’s Top 25 list- Brad Paisley (#17); George Strait/Reba (#18); Rascal Flatts (#23) and Carrie Underwood (#24).
