The early and mid 80's were a time in country music when Ricky Skaggs could do no wrong. He had a string of 5 number one hits in a row. He actually had 9 of 11 singles go to the top with the other two peaking at number 2. When I first started here at K99 Ricky was one of the biggest names we had going. I remember a couple decades ago he even came to Estes Park to play the Rooftop Rodeo.
